A highly respected Irish civil contractor, renowned for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across Ireland, is looking to hire an experienced Senior Engineer for their team in Athlone.
With expertise spanning infrastructure, civil engineering, and building construction, the company is known for its reliability, strong project management, and commitment to sustainable practices, meeting high environmental and safety standards. The contractor has built a reputation for timely project completion and fostering effective collaboration with clients, architects, and local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager with daily on-site tasks.
- Oversee and coordinate site engineers.
- Ensure the effective management and distribution of all technical information required for the project.
- Manage submittals and RFI submissions from development through design team approval.
- Request materials and equipment from the purchasing department.
- Keep a site diary/log of daily activities.
- Monitor and uphold quality and work standards on-site.
- Assume full responsibility for setting out.
Benefits:
- Company vehicle or mileage allowance.
- Competitive salary range of €60,000 to €75,000.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience, ideally with a main Irish contractor.
- Extensive experience in setting out and levelling.
- Experience with services is an advantage.
- Familiarity with precast concrete frames and steel roof frames.
- Experience in commercial and industrial building projects.
