Senior Commercial Manager - Construction
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: Circa £80,000 - £85,000 plus benefits
Benefits: 10%Car Allowance, Pension, Healthcare, 25 days holiday and bonus

The Opportunity:
My client is a forward thinking and innovative company who are one of the top 5 construction companies in the UK currently, with a reputation for prioritising support, development, and growth of all team members. They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to work on high value Healthcare schemes in Shrewsbury as part of the P23 framework, this project is worth £190m and the company are looking for a number 1 on this role. This scheme will also have an element of modular build so experience in this sector would be desirable.
The Senior Commercial Manager will be joining at an extremely exciting and significant time for this company. They have secured a strong pipeline of local work on some interesting schemes, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the business and develop alongside this highly respected contractor.
They have an exceptional reputation and have built themselves an excellent name across the industry. They work in the Midlands across a range of sectors that include education, healthcare, leisure, student accommodation, commercial and luxury hotels. With projects typically ranging value from £30m - £200m.
Senior Commercial Manager Opportunity
The project will be in Shrewsbury and is part of the P23 framework, so a background working on healthcare schemes would be advantageous. Moving forward they have a strong pipeline of future work which is also local. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Senior Commercial Manager or a proven Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career. You will work on some very prestigious projects with a company that can also offer excellent progression opportunities.
This role would suit someone with a strong background working within the healthcare sector, preferably with P22 experience and will have ideally worked for both public and private sector clients.
Senior Commercial Manger Essential Requirements:
- Worked on healthcare schemes.
- Lead schemes in excess of £30m.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Tier 1 main Contractor background
- CSCS card required (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving License
- Stable employment history
