Job Title:
Senior Design Engineer
The company is a Specialist Tunnelling Contractor who operate on civil engineering & rail projects across the UK. This role will form an essential part of the existing team, with the function of expanding and developing the design element of the company. My client would also be interested in Design Engineers looking to step up.
The candidate will be ideally based in a commutable distance to the office in Doncaster, however this role can be predominantly remote, so ideal for design candidates around Yorkshire, East & West Midlands, and the North West.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Design Engineer role:
- Ensure all tunnelling design deliverables are produced in accordance with project programme, budget and technical requirements.
- Develop & grow the design team
- On time and cost-effective delivery of all aspects of the engineering design solution.
Experience required for this Senior Design Engineer role:
- Ideally Chartered Engineer (ie MICE, MIET, MIMechE) or relevant experience
- Previous experience in a Design Manager role (or as a senior civil engineer ready to step up)
- Experience working with Network Rail/National Highways as a client
Package offered for this role:
- Up to £85,000 per annum
- Car Allowance, holidays, pensions, health and wellbeing care etc.
