Freelance Estimator/Senior Estimator
Location : Watford
Engagement : 3-month ongoing Contract
Rate: £500 - £550 a day outside IR35/inside IR35 options also
Homeworking: 2-3 days Watford a week, rest from home - can be flexible with this
Essential Experience: Highways, rail, bridges and stations
My client is a reputable Main contractor who holds an excellent reputation in the industry. They have a urgent requirement for an experienced freelance Estimator/Senior Estimator with a background in utilities and infrastructure. They are looking for a commercially astute professional who has experience working on pipework & welding
Key Responsibilities for this Freelance Senior Estimator Role:
- Assisting with the production, strategy and interfacing between various departmental functions to ensure that tender returns are accurately priced, commercially and technically detailed
- Ensuring strict timescales are maintained throughout the tendering process
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other professionals together with fostering the development of future tender success and new Client opportunities
- Supporting the transition between the tender phase to project handover and delivery
Key Experience for this Freelance Senior Estimator Role:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Estimator
- Ideally have experience within Highways, rail, bridges and stations
- Degree qualified.
