WWe are looking for Senior Planner to join our Thames Water team working from home and the East Hyde & Harpenden sites, you'll be working on our new 7-year, c£1bn framework with Thames Water.
Location: East Hyde & Harpenden (Luton)
Contract: Permanent position in Harpenden and Freelance for East Hyde, full-time roles
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Planner, you'll be working within the Thames Water team, supporting them in ensuring the successful delivery of non-infrastructure water and wastewater projects.
Your day-to-day will include:
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with the client to meet their needs.
• Developing and leading project planners to deliver successful projects that align with Thames Water
• Ensuring projects are programmed in P6 to the necessary level of detail for operational teams to deliver and ensuring contract compliance.
Experience needed for Senior Planner:
• You have a relevant degree (or equivalent) and experience within regulated utilities infrastructure or the built environment sector.
• Previously worked on UK water framework ideally wastewater (non infra)
• You possess Chartered Status in a relevant professional body or appropriate professional qualification.
• You have excellent NEC3/NEC4 contractual and commercial awareness, alongside a deep understanding of Health & Safety Legislation including HSWA and CDM Regulations.
• Good understanding on how to build a sequence and how to programme that sequence. Being able to explain how this is going to be implemented and the effect it will have on the framework.
• Able to look at other construction programmes and look to deduce the cost for the client.
