As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing a live project This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with NEC experience and civils expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the financial aspects of the project, including cost estimation, cost control, and cost reporting
- Monitor and track project costs, assessing any changes or deviations from the original budget
- Familiarity with the NEC change and cost process is essential
- Prepare accurate and detailed reports, providing valuable insights on project progress
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to resolve any commercial issues
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters and help mitigate risks
- Conduct thorough assessments of contract documents and identify any potential issues
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quantity surveying and civil engineering
