Senior Quantity Surveyor
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering Tier 1 contractor and work on some exciting civil engineering projects across the Thames valley area of England, to be based in the Reading office working on water projects.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role
• Co-ordinating with, reporting to and implementing the reasonable directives of the Regional Director/Manager and the Commercial Manager
• Ensuring prompt and regular submission of main contract payment applications and subsequent cash collection together with the preparation of sub-contractor payments
• Supervising, mentoring and encouraging junior staff in their personal professional development
• Ensuring the timely submission of all relevant data required to monitor and analyse individual contract performance on a monthly and quarterly basis thereafter
• Involvement in dispute avoidance/resolution
Experience required for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
• Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification / experience
• Good knowledge of standard forms of contract
• A comprehensive understanding of the Water Industry
• Ability to negotiate with clients/sub contractors and draft sub contracts
Package offered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
• Up to £75,000 negotiable based on experience
• Excellent pension
