SHEQ Advisor
This is a great opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join a well Established Civils contractor working on a large number of infrastructure projects/frameworks which include civils and water. This role is the be based in the London area.
The company is a well know Civils contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices. Your role as SHEQ Advisor you will be joining the H&S team, be involved in projects from start to finish.

Key responsibilities for this SHEQ Advisor role:
- Assist in site establishment
- Advise and help with the day-to-day tasks related to safety, health, environment, and quality management
- Carrying out SHEQ audits and inspections
- Developing and implementing safety controls
- Carrying out incident investigations
- Creating and reviewing safe systems of works
- Advising on and arranging required training as per our training matrix and identify training needs
- Liaising with our clients and other contractors
- Monitoring and reporting on safety performance
Experience required for this SHEQ Advisor role:
- Experience with DSEAR regulations and working in EX areas is required
- Experience in the construction industry in the principal contractor/Designer role is desirable
- Experience in safety, health, environment, and quality management
- NEBOSH construction or equivalent as a minimum
- Relevant Environmental qualification
- Technical member of IOSH is desirable
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and other relevant legislation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in safety, health, environment, or quality management
- Hold a full driving license
Package offered for this SHEQ Advisor role:
- Basic Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience. This may be negotiable for the right individual
