Site Engineer | Cork

Job Description

One of Ireland’s tier-one contractors are on the lookout for an experienced Site Engineer to join their team. This company has a great reputation in the construction industry throughout Europe and is one of the leading brands in their field.

You will be given the opportunity to work on a €130m commercial project just outside of Cork City.

This role is site-based, working Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Report to Site Manager / Senior Engineer.

· Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.

· The ability to carry out and instruct in Setting out and levelling the site.

· Comply with safety regulations on all equipment along with the health and safety regulations of the site.

· Responsibility for design coordination of all civil and structural elements with the design team and ensuring that the design is submitted in a timely fashion.

· Responsibility for Quality Control of all aspects of the construction project in relation to civil and structural elements.

· Responsibility for the completion of the project in line with the programme and budget.

 

Key Requirements

· Minimum 2-3 years experience.

· Setting out experience.

· Engineering Degree/Diploma.

· Computer literate.

· Full understanding of design drawings.

· RC Frame/ Structural Steel Experience.

· Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme.

· Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.

· Ability to work as part of a team.

 

Package Offered

· €55,000 - €70,000 Depending on experience
