We are seeking an experienced engineer to join a well-established contractor in Drogheda for a significant commercial development project. This initiative focuses on enhancing and revitalizing the town center as part of a larger urban regeneration effort. The project aims to improve the streetscape, create high-quality public spaces, and preserve the historical and cultural character of the area. It is a key part of transforming the town, making it more attractive and accessible for both residents and visitors in the coming years.
Responsibilities
- Set out, level, and ensure quality control, including concrete quality through cube sampling, slump testing, etc.
- Check shuttering, steel, and other dimensions prior to concrete pours; maintain materials reconciliation records.
- Keep detailed records of all site activities, maintain a site diary, and upload materials to the DMS.
- Supervise directly employed and subcontractor personnel involved in various elements of the construction project.
- Adhere strictly to the company’s health and safety, environmental, quality, and other on-site policies and procedures.
Requirments
- Must possess relevant engineering qualifications with 2-3 years of experience working for a building contractor.
- Strong IT skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of surveying instruments and equipment.
- Ideal candidates are self-starters and problem solvers who thrive in team environments.

Salary for this Site Engineer role is between €50,000 – €65,000 DOE
(Negotiable dependent upon experience), bonus scheme, plus further additional benefits
