Site Engineer | Dublin 2

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join a well-established contractor on a 55-bedroom hotel project located in the heart of Dublin 2. This project showcases a striking blend of raw industrial aesthetics and contemporary features, delivering a unique and vibrant guest experience. Situated within walking distance of iconic attractions such as Temple Bar, Grafton Street, and Dublin Castle, the hotel is a prime choice for travelers keen to explore Dublin’s rich cultural and nightlife offerings. Additionally, it will house a lively bar, providing a welcoming social space that captures the city's dynamic energy.

Responsibilities

• Set out, level, and ensure quality control, including concrete quality through cube sampling, slump testing, etc.
• Check shuttering, steel, and other dimensions prior to concrete pours; maintain materials reconciliation records.
• Keep detailed records of all site activities, maintain a site diary, and upload materials to the DMS.
• Supervise directly employed and subcontractor personnel involved in various elements of the construction project.
• Adhere strictly to the company’s health and safety, environmental, quality, and other on-site policies and procedures.

Requirments

• Must possess relevant engineering qualifications with 2-3 years of experience working for a building contractor ideally on commercial projects.
• Strong IT skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of surveying instruments and equipment.
• Ideal candidates are self-starters and problem solvers who thrive in team environments.
