Site Engineer/Section Engineer
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well known Tier 1 contractor working on a large Infrastructure in the Birmingham area.
The company is a well know Tier 1 contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices. Your role as Site Engineer you will be part of our team who are responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of a large structures/Infrastructure project.

Key responsibilities for this Site Engineer role:
- To ensure the safe delivery of construction activities on site, including compliance with our recently introduced COVID-19 safe systems of work
- Timely and efficient delivery of work activities
- To provide leadership to teams working on construction activities ensuring all work is carried out to the necessary specifications, RAMS and quality requirements
- To prepare method statements and risk assessments, and set out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification
- To liaise effectively with the construction supervisors and construction managers
- To work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders
- To complete accurate information and records of the permanent works
- To provide support to the wider team
Experience required for this Site Engineer role:
- Previous Site Engineering experience ideally some structures experience
- Experience on Pumping Station construction and trenchless works is desirable
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- CITB SMSTS or other recognised industry accredited safety management programme, CSCS card or EUSR Safety Health, Environmental (SHEA) passport scheme, (SHEA) Water, DOMS and national water hygiene. NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate, NRSW
- Demonstrate a clear focus on customer and stakeholder performance with a service excellence and performance focus
Package offered for this Site Engineer role:
- Basic Salary up to £48,000 GBP depending on experience
- Plus package
