Site Engineer | Wexford Town

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join a reputable contractor for an exciting residential development in Wexford Town, consisting of 200 houses. The project is expected to last 15-18 months, with a strong pipeline of future work in Wexford and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established team on a significant project.

Responsibilities

• Set out, level, and ensure quality control, including concrete quality through cube sampling, slump testing, etc.
• Check shuttering, steel, and other dimensions prior to concrete pours; maintain materials reconciliation records.
• Keep detailed records of all site activities, maintain a site diary, and upload materials to the DMS.
• Supervise directly employed and subcontractor personnel involved in various elements of the construction project.
• Adhere strictly to the company’s health and safety, environmental, quality, and other on-site policies and procedures.

Requirments

• Must possess relevant engineering qualifications with 2-3 years of experience working for a building contractor.
• Strong IT skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of surveying instruments and equipment.
• Ideal candidates are self-starters and problem solvers who thrive in team environments.
