The Technical Manager Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Manager to join a well-respected housing developer based at their offices in Solihull, mainly working on affordable housing schemes across the Midlands.
The ideal candidate will have experience working for a housebuilder in the role of a Technical/Design Manager (or similar) and will have detailed knowledge of the NHBC standards and Building Regulations.
You will oversee the entire design process from initial concept to completion and liaise with Commercial, Construction and Customer care teams throughout the process, working on up to 6 sites at a time.
To be considered for the Technical Manager position:
- Worked as a Technical Manager (or equivalent) and worked on affordable house building projects
- Motivated and self-sufficient with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent people skills and an ability to supervise junior members of the team
- Educated to a high standard in a relevant subject.
