An opportunity for a Track Access Planner to join a forward thinking, leading provider of end-to-end asset lifecycle solutions within the railway sector. Offering and delivering a wide range of services from station infrastructure to complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
Their expertise spans across key areas such as P-way, Civils and E&P, undertaking structural inspections and testing to produce inspection reports to a high standard ensuring that all the works undertaken and in accordance with their policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities for this Track Access Planner role:
- Experience of managing and coordinating access to the rail network, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of train services while complying with relevant regulations.
- Work with internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely, safe, and effective track access management.
- Use the Possession Planning System (PPS) to create and update track access plans.
- Collaborate with various Rail Hubs to manage track access and possessions efficiently.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure timely execution and minimize disruption to scheduled services.
- Liaise with COSS personnel to ensure safety of workers and contractors during track possessions.
- Address and process late access requests, balancing operational requirements with safety and regulatory constraints.
- Ensure that all track access plans and related documentation are accurate, complete, and in compliance with relevant safety and industry regulations.
Key Requirements for this Track Access Planner role:
- Have a strong background in rail operations, track access planning, and safety systems.
- Strong understanding of rail infrastructure, operations and the systems used - PPS.
- COSS experience desirable - or coordinating with COSS peronnel.
- Demonstrated experience in manging and processing late access requests in a rail environment.
- Familiarity with the operations of rail hubs and intermodal facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of rail industry regulations, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with rail planning software, including the Possession Planning System (PPS).
Package on offer for this Track Access Planner role:
- Salary £45,000 - £60,000 DOE
- Based in Stratford London - 5 days per week
- 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
