Job Title: Wayleave and Permitting Manager
Location: Dublin
We are currently supporting a Telecommunications Contractor who are looking for a Wayleave and Permitting Manager to join their growing team based in Dublin.
Your role as the Wayleave and Permitting Manager will be to obtain consent to deploy their equipment from landlords, homeowners and local authorities to agree on Wayleaves and obtaining Permits. This is a new roles and area of the business so the successful candidate will be taking full ownership of the Wayleave and Permitting processes while leading and mentoring teams as they grow.
Key Responsibilities for this Wayleave and Permitting Manager role:
- Engage with landlords and landowners who will need to be informed throughout the course of the works, building key relationships in the specified reward areas.
- Agreeing on the route and proposed works with these key stakeholders to conclude the Wayleave agreement and ensure that the build works can go ahead.
- Obtain permits for works with the Local Authorities and fostering relationships.
- Track the process of the agreements and permits through internal and client systems.
- Continuously improving systems and processes for Wayleave and Permit access.
Key Requirements for this Wayleave and Permitting Manager role:
- Full understanding of Wayleave Agreements and the regulatory requirements and the Permitting Process with local authorities in Ireland.
- Strong knowledge of the UK and Ireland Fibre Network
- Experience leading a team or ability to take leadership over projects
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in previous planning or administration roles
Package offered for this Wayleave and Permitting Manager role:
- Salary €55k - €70k depending on skills and experience
