STE4 Examiner

This role is open nationwide.
The key requirements for this STE4 Examiner role are:
- Prepare Task Briefing Sheets and assess their relevance when arriving at sites to be examined.
- Ensure pre-prepared Safe System of Work (SSOW) is appropriate and ready before starting any examinations.
- Conduct site inspections following industry standards and promote safe working practices.
- Capture clear and accurate photographs to be included in examination reports.
- Communicate the status of each inspection to the project management team upon completion.
- Prepare detailed reports based on the required format for each specific contract.
- Produce thorough survey reports and provide assessments of existing rail structures in line with industry standards.
- Support management with the preparation of asset inspection tenders and quotations.
Skills and qualifications required for this STE4 Examiner role are:
- Full UK manual (gearbox) driving licence.
- STE4 Certification.
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) qualification.
- At least 2 years' experience in rail infrastructure examinations, inspections, and report writing.
- Strong IT skills and experience with report generation.
