About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Architect Project Engineer to join our team, specializing in commercial and underground station projects in Germany. The ideal candidate will bridge architectural design with engineering expertise, ensuring the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects while adhering to German regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Design and Coordination:

    • Develop and oversee architectural designs, ensuring alignment with project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to integrate architectural and technical requirements.
    • Ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, and safety standards for commercial and underground station projects.
  2. Technical Oversight:

    • Conduct feasibility studies, site analyses, and risk assessments.
    • Review and validate technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
    • Ensure compliance with German building codes (Bauordnung), regulations, and standards (HOAI, VOB, etc.).
  3. Construction Management Support:

    • Provide technical guidance during construction phases, resolving design-related challenges.
    • Monitor progress on-site to ensure adherence to designs, quality standards, and safety protocols.
    • Conduct site inspections and collaborate with contractors to address any design modifications.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Act as a liaison between clients, project teams, and regulatory authorities.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates to stakeholders.
    • Facilitate communication to align expectations and deliverables.
  5. Sustainability and Innovation:

    • Integrate sustainable and energy-efficient design principles into projects.
    • Explore and implement innovative materials, technologies, and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and detailed project records, including design changes and approvals.
    • Prepare regular reports on project status, budgets, and milestones.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Professional accreditation (e.g., Architektenkammer registration) is preferred.
  • Experience:

    • At least 5 years of experience in architectural project engineering, with a focus on commercial and infrastructure projects.
    • Experience working on underground station or similar infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge:

    • Comprehensive understanding of architectural design, structural engineering, and construction processes.
    • Familiarity with German building regulations, standards, and permitting processes.
    • Proficiency in project management principles and tools.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in design and modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and BIM tools.
    • Strong knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent project management software.
  • Languages:

    • Fluent in German (required).
    • Proficiency in English is an advantage.
