Design Project Manager

Job Description

I have a requirement for a Design Project Manager to work for a consultancy based in the UK covering UK working on water frameworks. The frameworks can vary from Yorkshire Water, Severn Trent, Southwest Water and Wessex Water. It will be covering a number of schemes up to around £100,000.00 each on different wastewater frameworks such as CSO, combined over flow and pump flow.

Your role as Design Project Manager will be to manage an inhouse design team on work and offer support and guidance to help the team on designs.

Experience needed:
• Previously worked with water authorises and on water frameworks.
• Experience working with consultancies more than sub-contractors.
• Confidence with meeting clients for meetings and representing the client.
• Feasibility studies and detailed design
• Commercial knowledge and understanding of NEC forms of contracts.

Job Offer:
• Remote working
• Travel only when needed, maybe 1 day a month
• Outside IR35
• Long term contract
