I have an opportunity for a Junior/Intermediate Estimator to join a rapidly growing, innovative company who provide a wide range of specialist services, to a variety of sectors. They work with their clients to provide a consultative design service which identifies cost advantageous solutions for below ground pipelines, tunnels and shafts.

You will assist in the preparation of cost estimates for various projects by collecting data, analysing costs, and working closely with senior estimators and project teams. This role supports the company's bid and tendering process to ensure accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates.

This is an office-based role, based in Doncaster, reporting to the Pre-Contracts Director, with excellent progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities for this Estimator role:

- Support senior estimators in creating detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Assist in preparing estimates for materials, labour equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Collect and evaluate cost data from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist in gathering information on historical project costs, production rates, and schedules for benchmarking.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and other documents to understand the project scope.
- Assist in obtaining quotes and pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Help maintain an organised database of costs, estimates and bids.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures when preparing cost estimates.

Experience required for this Estimator role:

- Ideally diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or related field.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of preparing programmes, ideally MS Project.
- Construction knowledge background, civils, rail and utilities.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices (or a willingness to learn).

Package offered for this Estimator role:

- Salary £26,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience/level)
- 25 Days annual leave + Bank Holidays
