Fibre Engineer

 

We are interested in speaking with Fibre Engineers in the Telecoms Industry who will use their skills and experience to support with Mobile Telecommunication Projects working with Mobile Network Operators.

 

Key responsibilities for the Fibre Engineer role:

  • Installing, and Maintaining Telecommunications Infrastructure
  • Attending sites and providing overhead and underground Fibre cabling
  • Designing and Developing Fibre Optic cables and connectivity system
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of systems' performances
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • System analyses and troubleshooting any issues related to Fibre Optic Infrastructure
  • Splicing Fibre and testing throughout installation
  • Monitoring Health and Safety standards

 

Requirements for this Fibre Engineer role:

  • Experience in installing blown fibre tubing (Underground and overhead)
  • Proficiency with CAD
  • Experience working on Fibre Projects and installing Fibre cables 
  • Fibre splicing and testing experience
  • NRSWA qualification
  • SA001, SA002
