We have a current job opportunity for Fibre Splicer. This position is based in in multiple areas across the south of the UK, including Southampton, Bristol, Portsmouth, London and areas in the Midlands
Key responsibilities for this Fibre Splicer role:
- Rod and Rope testing
- Splicing
- Spines and cable feeds
- PON and testing
- Installation of internal and external fibre
- Blown Fibre experience
- Detailed daily project reports
- Ability to implement work pack instructions
Experience required for the Fibre Splicer role:
- Minimum of 2 year fibre experience
- Experience with PON and Splicing
- Experience working on Vodafone, Openreach or Virgin networks
- NRSWA knowledge and accreditation
- PIA experience
- Willingness to travel between works
Desirable:
- SA001/ SA002
- Competent using Microsoft Office
