As a result of ongoing expansion, we are looking for a skilled Finishing Foreman to join our client’s team. The role involves overseeing an exciting residential project in Nenagh and will be pivotal in ensuring high-quality finishes across multiple projects in the Tipperary area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all finishing works on the residential development, ensuring that high-quality standards are upheld and project timelines are met.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure efficient workflow and timely task completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, assess quality, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues or defects that arise during the finishing phase.
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, plans, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to communicate progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any deviations from the project plan.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman with at least 3 years in a similar role on residential or commercial developments.
- Strong carpentry background with hands-on experience in finishing works.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
Qualifications:
- Full EU driving license.
- Must be eligible to work in Europe.
- Carpenter by Trade
