Position Overview:

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting geotechnical investigations and providing expert analysis and recommendations for infrastructure and environmental projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients, you will deliver comprehensive reports and solutions, ensuring that quality and safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geotechnical site investigations, including soil testing, data collection, and analysis.
  • Interpret geotechnical data to produce detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality geotechnical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and field staff.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance project delivery and sustainability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in geotechnical engineering, ideally within the infrastructure or construction sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical site investigation techniques and laboratory testing methods.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software and data analysis tools.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive, solution-focused attitude with attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of quality.
