HV Engineer
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HV Engineer to join a an international consultancy who are looking to expand and develop a new team in the DACH region.

Your role as HV engineer will be responsible for leading the development of a new team to cover the DACH region.

Key responsibilities for this HV engineer role:
- Work closely with and be supported by the existing power team in the UK
- Support in business development activities (Tendering, Client presentations, developing technical capabilities of team)
- Act as lead engineer for new projects.
- Identify resource requirements and participate in building a new team
- Work closely with design teams in the UK, ensuring designs are provided in compliance with local standards.
Experience required for this HV engineer role:
- The candidate must have experience in the production of or management of designs, calculations, reports, and drawings for HV power transmission systems, HVDC interconnectors.
OR
- HV renewable energy infrastructure, in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
- The candidate must have full working proficiency in both German and English
- The candidate must have specialist knowledge in one of the following areas; HV cable design, Overhead line design, and Substation Primary design.
