Job Title: Electrical Project Manager
Location: Newcastle
Day rate: £600p/d - £650p/d outside IR35
Contract: 6 months initial contract (long-term work available)
A fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager has arisen with a Tier 1 Contractor to work on multiple Transmission and Distribution projects.
Key responsibilities for this role:
- Delivering HV projects inception to completion
- Full ownership for all project phases (project engineering, procurement & manufacture, FAT, delivery, installation, SIT, SAT& final commissioning.
- Interfacing and liaising with all stakeholders to ensure all objectives are met
- Managing project resources and project budgets
- Managing the EHS in connection with delivery of projects
Experience / qualifications required for this role:
- BSC /HND in engineering discipline
- Electrical engineering technical background
- Knowledge of high voltage transmission and distribution networks
- Key Stakeholder Management
- Commercial experience, NEC contracts
- Industry knowledge, GIS 132kv substation/ 132kv Substation
- CDM experience
- Programme management
- Forecasting
- Health and Safety
- RAMS/ Documentation
- MUST be willing to travel
