This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a well known Tier 1 contractor working on a large water infrastructure programme across South Wales.

The company is a well know Tier 1 contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices. Your role as Operations Manager you will joining an award winning business who will be part of the a large water framework covering the Wales Region. As an Operations Manager you ae responsible for leading and driving the Repair and Maintenance team.

Key responsibilities for this Operations Manager role:
- Lead and Drive the Repair and Maintenance team.
- Thrive in taking charge of all activities related to the planned and reactive work program.
- Ensure the successful delivery of projects to cost, time, quality and safety targets.
- Oversee P&L and manage productivity and utilization of labour and subcontractors
- Must be a strong leader with excellent communication skills
- Manage Construction teams, liaising with clients and authorities
- Ensuring safety compliance

Experience required for this Operations Manager role:

- Must be a strong leader with excellent communication skills
- Must be organised, detail-orientated and able to meet deadline
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional service
- IOSH safety certificate
- A current valid driving licence
- Supervisors street work card
- A working knowledge of disciplinary and capability procedures
- A working knowledge of accident investigation procedure
- Financial awareness and ability to work to budgets
- Good understanding, supported by experience of how water network operates
- Proven ability to deliver improvements to productivity, safety and customer focus in a utility environment
- Welsh speaking would be advantageous



Package offered for this Operations Manager role:

- Basic Salary up to £59,000 depending on experience
