Position - Project Engineer: Old Mining
Location - Essen OR Berlin, Germany
I am currently recruitng for a globally active company for engineering services and related consulting services with more than 280 years of experience. With 13 engineering and consulting companies at 30 locations and more than 1,100 employees worldwide, We focus on the markets of plant engineering and process engineering, infrastructure and construction, as well as raw materials and energy.
Our group provides independent services in the four main fields of Exploration, Engineering, Consulting and Geotechnics. It also develops products and offers solutions for industrial metrology and testing with emphasis on natural resources, safety and infrastructure.
As our Project Engineer you will be responsible for:
• Preparation of mining damage analyses
• Management of projects for exploration and safety measures in old mining
• stability assessments
• Acquisition and support of customers
Requirements:
• A completed degree (diploma or master) in the field of geotechnics, mining, geosciences or comparable
• Knowledge of rock and soil mechanics, old mining (exploration, security/storage), interpretation of drawings and project management
• Ideally knowledge in the field of hydrogeology, methane outgassing and control of outgassing processes as well as in the field of numerical modelling
