Do you want to help ensure that sustainable modes of transport such as light rail and cycle paths can be routed over existing road bridges? Do you want to help us close the gap to a sustainable future?

If you can imagine using your skills in structural analysis for such sustainable goals, then you have come to the right place.

Your Role

As our new project engineer (m/f/d) you will join our “Bridges and Structures” team and carry out the following main tasks:

  • Recalculation of existing bridges and structures from simple load comparisons to the application of complex recalculation methods
  • Learning and applying reliability-based recalculation methods
  • Close cooperation with the project planning and participation in the bridge design
  • Constant consideration of sustainability aspects

You will be part of the "Bridges and Structures" department with locations in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich and Düsseldorf. We love our flexible workplaces, which give us the freedom to sit together in a team either undisturbed in closed, smaller areas or at larger tables. We value the opportunity to exchange ideas on all aspects of our work with our international colleagues within Denmark, Finland or Great Britain.

About You

You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering / specialization in structural engineering (M.Eng., M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing., Dr.-Ing.) and several years of experience in the structural design of bridge structures and in the use of software such as SOFiSTiK.
