Consultancy Project Manager / Team Lead
Location: Blend of home / office based. Office location can be Beeston (Nottingham), Stafford, Sheffield or Bollington (Macclesfield).
Salary: £35,000k-£55,000 dependent upon level of experience plus benefits.
Summary
An independent, focused Ecology & Environmental consultancy is looking to take on a Project Manager to manage the delivery of a number of rail projects within our rapidly growing Environmental Consultancy.
This is an opportunity for an experienced project manager to form part of the senior management team and contribute directly to a growing business. The individual must have proven competence in ensuring high customer satisfaction levels through excellent communication and achievement of key project objectives. Professional accreditation not essential but would be beneficial.
You will be responsible for the ownership, management and delivery of one or more of our larger scale (c.£1M+/annum) UK contracts within the infrastructure and transportation sectors, ensuring that all work is undertaken effectively to meet client requirements within the specified programme and budget constraints.
Seeking candidates with experience managing projects in a consultancy environment
Experience in Rail or Ecology would also be desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from inception to completion ensuring adherence with the company IMS
- Primary client liaison, ensuring client satisfaction and developing relationships
- Maintenance of your projects within the company project management software
- Working with the Project Director, Technical Lead and delivery team to achieve client objectives
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Identify and manage change control
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations
- Develop Project Plans
- Lead project team meetings
- Manage resourcing in conjunction with the wider team resource co-ordinator to assemble and co-ordinate project staff
- Manage the project budget
- Attend monthly project reviews to report on project progress and performance
- Identify and communicate invoicing milestones
- Track project deliverables
- Provide direction and support to project delivery team
