An opportunity for a Project Manager to join a tier 1 contractor, joining their rail team based in Birmingham. You will be overseeing a large project undertaking the development of plain line track, S&C and drainage renewals work.
This role will lead on all aspects of the development works and you will be playing a prominent role which will ensure the constructions works are planned in a safe manner, to a high quality and within budget costs.
This role would suit a project manager, development manager, programme Manager, process Manager or resource Manager with a multi-discipline background within rail.
Key responsibilities for this Project Manager role:
- Creating methodologies for development projects.
- Ensuring the design is constructible.
- Checking and defining material quantities.
- Developing programmes for work packages
- Defining resource requirements.
- Integrate multi-discipline programmes.
Experience required for this Project Manager role:
- Circa 5 years' minimum railway experience.
- Working knowledge of multi-disciplinary' railway engineering encompassing p/way, OHLE, Civils and Signalling as a minimum.
- Proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team
- Recognised project management experience
- Strong ream working and experience of collaborative working arrangements
- Understanding of health and safety/environmental legislation
Package offered for this Project Manager role:
- Salary £55,000 - £65,000 DOE
- Car/Car Allowance
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Pension
- Upto 10% bonus
