Location Twyford, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus company car & package

One the UK's leading infrastructure services and construction contractors are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their transportation team based in Twyford, Buckinghamshire to ensure the quality requirements of their major transportation scheme contract is delivered successfully and continually improved by contributing to client KPI's

The Major Projects Quality Assurance Manager will also ensure their teams comply with the contractors corporate responsibility policies, procedures and standards and provide leadership and expertise on regulatory and compliance issues along with supporting the
Management and Operational teams in all aspects of HSEQ compliance.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

- Manage, maintain and update the Project(s) IMS and Sharepoint portal to ensure compliance with The ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, 44001 International Standards and general requirements of other industry bodies.
- Manage the business assurance system on nominated schemes to ensure system information is maintained, up-to-date and operational
- Facilitate External Audits with the company & assurance organisations
- Coordinate & lead Internal Quality Audits with functions and suppliers on nominated schemes
- Work closely with Senior Management Team and their teams to monitor effectiveness of Quality Team input, and to guide and support their function initiatives
- Identification and implementation of continuous improvement activities (including sharing of best practice) identified as a result of consultation, audits and inspections
- Deliver Quality Assurance training to team members
- Develop, support and lead relationships with stakeholders such as colleagues, clients, subcontractors and suppliers supports SHEA principles and goals
- Manage & maintain Quality Observation, Non-Conformance and Quality Management Point processes.
- Report on Quality metrics internally and to clients
- Work closely with client and sub-contractors to ensure compliance of processes and systems
- Manage the EDMS and CDEs used on the project
- Attend Client meetings and calls related to quality

Essential Skills & Experience Required

- Experience in a similar role working on major infrastructure contracts in a relevant discipline
- ( rail, civils, highways etc)
- Working knowledge of ISO Standards as Lead Auditor to facilitate continual improvement
- Ability to apply quality assurance knowledge to support teams, by investigating nonconformities and ensuring lessons learnt are communicated
- Understanding of integrated management systems and the ability to develop and improve processes
