Freelance Quantity Surveyor
Location : West Midlands, Solihull
Engagement : Contract
Rate: £350 per day if outside IR35
Duration: 3 months ongoing
Project: Commercial project within House Build

My client is a successful contractor who holds an excellent reputation in the industry.
One of the sectors they specialise in, is house build/new build
Due to the continuing growth of the Business, they are now looking to take on an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor for a project due to start in the West Midlands
The successful Freelance Quantity Surveyor will assist them in their core market.
Key Responsibilities for this Freelance Quantity Surveyor Role:
- Preparing, submit and agree all Final Accounts in a timely manner that achieves best value for the Company.
- Taking timely and proper action (e.g., notices) in accordance with the contract/ sub-contract.
- Preparing the submission and agreement of any contractual claims as requested.
- Submitting detailed, accurate and timely interim applications for payment.
- Checking that all sub-contractors are procured to the programme and that agreements are robust in order to achieve best value.
- Giving support and advice to site teams with contractual matters where possible.
- Ensuring in conjunction with the Managing Surveyor, that the risk mitigation strategy is effectively managed.
Key Experience for this Freelance Quantity Surveyor Role:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Ideally have experience working on a similar project
- Degree qualified.
- Experience in COIN's
