This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Telecommunications company and support the Build phase of the UK's Fibre Network and final stages of Fibre Projects in Northern Ireland, for Rural and Urban Network Builds.

The company are an established Fibre Telecoms specialist based in Northern Ireland, actively installing Fibre across the UK and Northern Ireland. Your role as Quantity Surveyor will give you the opportunity to use your skills and experience to support the final stages of the UK's Fibre Telecommunications Network Delivery.


Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:

- Provide Commercial and Contractual expertise to contracts (NEC3 and NEC4) Drafting & Issuing correspondence.
- Preparation and submission of weekly progress claims to client. Valuations to be agreed with client QS representative on a bi- weekly basis.
- Meet project deliverables on time and with emphasis on quality.
- Collect and Review worksheet completed by Sub-Contractors sent in on a weekly basis.
- Managing Commercial Assistants as the project evolves in size.
- Review and sign off Sub-Contractor invoices to be passed to accounts for payments.

Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:

- Significant experience and transferable skills in a similar role.
- Organised, focused and able to meet deadlines.
- Qualified Surveyor qualification.
- Full Driving License with Access to Car.
- Experience within Utilities, Civils, or Construction if not within Telecoms.
- Excellent communication skills.
- NEC3 and NEC4 Contract knowledge and experience.
- Travel from and between Northern Ireland.


Package offered for this Quantity Surveyor role:

- 3+ Months Contract.
- Immediate Start (Subject to notice periods).
- Immediate interviews.
- Access to Vehicles when working in the UK - required to work in Cumbria every 4 to 5 weeks, for 3 to 5 days.
- £300 - £350 a day, depending on experience.
