Site Manager

Job Description

One of Ireland’s top contractors are seeking a site manager to join their team on a residential project based in Dublin

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of successful project management in the construction industry, coupled with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Location: Dublin

Key Responsibilities for this Site Manager role

  • Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of a large-scale site
  • Review high-level deliverables across site.
  • Implement quality assurance procedures.
  • Manage project scope and mitigates risk across projects.
  • Attend Health and Safety meetings with site team and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all work onsite is in accordance with the Health & Safety policy and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating activities to meet milestones and deadlines. Implement effective scheduling strategies to optimize project efficiency.

Key Requirements for this Site Manager role

  • Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience site management experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and track record of delivering projects with precision.
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package

Package offered for this Site Manager role

  • Salary of €65,000 - €80,000, depending on experience
