Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with Project Management expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the design and execution of both industrial and residential building projects, from concept through to completion. This role requires a balance of technical knowledge and leadership skills to manage complex projects and ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Structural Design: Develop, review, and approve structural designs and specifications for industrial and residential buildings, ensuring they meet local building codes and regulations.

Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation through completion, while managing resources, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects, construction managers, and contractors to coordinate structural designs and project schedules. Ensure smooth handoffs across disciplines and troubleshoot design or construction challenges as they arise.

Quality Control: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, assess compliance with design documents, and identify potential risks. Propose solutions to address design and construction issues.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and risk assessments. Ensure all project deliverables are archived accurately.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on the latest building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards. Ensure all project work adheres to regulatory and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.

Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of structural engineering experience in both industrial and residential projects.
- Proven experience managing projects from planning through completion.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000) and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Fluency in German speaking required

Project Management Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.
