Job Title:
Principal Engineer (Bridges)
The company is a well-established Rail Consultancy who offer design solutions on infrastructure projects across the UK. The company has won a number of major CP7 design projects, and so they are looking to recruit a Principal Engineer with experience in bridge design to assist with the scope of works.
The role would be based from their office in Greater Manchester, with hybrid working available.
Key responsibilities for this Principal Engineer role:
- Prepare outline and detailed design for a wide array of civil engineering projects with a focus on bridge design.
- Follow check and approve procedures throughout project delivery.
- Support & mentor more junior engineers with career progression.
Experience required for this Principal Engineer role:
- Ideally Chartered (CEng/IEng) with the Institution of Civil Engineers
- Experience of civil engineering design in the railway industry, particular bridge design and assessment
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant qualification in the field
Package offered for this Principal Engineer role:
- Up to £80,000 per annum
