Position: Site Engineer (Road Construction)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee road construction projects in Germany. In this role, you will manage on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will be the key link between the design team, project managers, and on-site personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all on-site road construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, design plans, and German construction regulations (e.g., DIN standards).
- Oversee earthworks, drainage, paving, and structural components of road projects.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and address delays or challenges.
- Conduct regular quality control checks and inspections of materials and workmanship.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site engineering issues.
- Manage resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including daily site logs.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 of experience in road construction projects in Germany.
- In-depth knowledge of road construction techniques, materials, and standards.
- Familiarity with German construction regulations and Eurocodes.
- Proficiency in construction management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong understanding of surveying techniques and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in German (mandatory) and English (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel or relocate as required.
