M& E Project Engineer

Location: Birmingham with Hybrid Working.

As a M&E Project Engineer you will;

Manage various projects at different stages of the GRIP life cycle, including preparing feasibility studies, design management and providing technical support to live construction projects as well as mechanical & electrical building services design and implementation.
Supporting the Engineering Manager and overseeing the engineering department and all aspects of projects, in accordance with company procedures and best practice guidance and to underpin the successful development, design and implementation of projects to the agreed targets and clients' satisfaction.
Senior Project Engineer Required Skills / Experience

- Chartered Engineer / Incorporated Engineer (CEng / IEng etc) Minimum 5 / 10 years' experience in project engineering (Essential)
- Experience working on rail engineering multidisciplinary projects
- Railway infrastructure experience.
- A working knowledge of the railway environment and engineering practises
- Able to write, check and finalised technical reports
- Able to support junior engineers in the production of text and drawings to support such work.
- Experience of undertaking reviews of site engineering work and review of contractors build against design drawings.
- Able to bring own ideas on way of working to the engineering team.
- A Post Grad Civil Engineering or Mechanical Degree or similar relevant qualification.
- Full Driving licence, CSCS card and PTS.

This is an INSIDE IR35 role and it will be a 3 month rolling contract with 3/4 years worth of work.
